Redeeming Love

Redeeming Love Book Review Eras of Life

Hi Friends!

I'm so excited because we have officially finished our club's first book of the month!

I did not know what I was expecting before reading Redeeming Love. I knew it would be a good book because of how much it was recommended to me, but I never expected to love it as much as I did. Reading it felt like God was speaking through the text to me. It felt like reading the Bible in an interesting way. I never expected that. I had moments throughout the book where I loved and disliked the characters. The only character I dislike throughout the book is Paul. I don't like that it ended so calmly between him and Sarah, but I know as Christians, we need to have forgiving hearts, so I understand. I just wanted a little more justice feeling in that area. The book was honestly hard but beautiful. Being able to see God work through the good and bad throughout their lives honestly just left me speechless in a positive way. One thing I will say that is annoying to me about the book is how I felt after reading it. It made me crave having someone in my life who loved me the way Micheal loved Sarah. He saw her as who she really was and not what the world saw her as, which is beautiful. I gave the book five stars on Goodreads. It was an amazing read, and I loved it. :)

Let me know what you all thought about the book. I would love to hear if you liked it or didn't like it and why. Let's discuss!
